This 2024 Ram 1500 Tradesman is a Bright White crew cab over black, set up to tow. The kilometres are higher than average for a 2024, which is what you get from a truck that has actually been working. It suits a family in Ottawa, Kanata, Stittsville or Nepean that wants to tow the camper and bring everyone along, or a trades buyer who needs six seats and a hitch more than leather. The Ram 1500 Tradesman runs the 5.7L HEMI VVT V8 with FuelSaver cylinder deactivation and eTorque mild-hybrid assist, 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft, through the 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic and four-wheel drive with an electronic transfer case. It has the Trailer Tow Group with a Class IV hitch, 4- and 7-pin wiring and an integrated trailer brake controller, trailer tow mirrors, trailer reverse steering control, trailer tire pressure monitoring, a 3.92 rear axle, trailer sway control and the 124.9-litre extended fuel tank, so you are not stopping for gas every time you hook up. The Ram 1500 Tradesman has the Tradesman Level 1 Equipment Group and the Bed Utility Group with a Mopar spray-in bedliner, four adjustable Mopar tie-down cleats, bed lighting and a deployable bed step, plus rear wheelhouse liners, a rear step bumper and a damped tailgate. Level 1 adds the 40/20/40 cloth front bench for six, carpet and a power sliding rear window, and Mopar floor mats are on it too. Inside there is a split rear seat, air conditioning, cruise control with steering wheel controls, the Uconnect 5 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM and a Wi-Fi hotspot, plus power windows and locks, and heated power mirrors with turn signals. The ParkView backup camera, electronic stability control and hill start assist are on it, along with Ready Alert Braking and Rain Brake Support. The window sticker came to just over $69,000. It is a Tradesman, so it is cloth and plastic inside, and that is the part that holds up. Financing is available on this one, and we can walk you through the options when you come in.
