Once your request is verified, we delete the personal data tied to your consumer account, including:

• Your MonsterAuto.ca consumer account profile and saved preferences
• Saved vehicles and favourites
• Vehicle inquiry and message threads you started as a consumer
• Your email address from active marketing and notification lists
• Account-level usage and analytics data linked to your user ID

Deletion is irreversible. After your account is deleted you can still browse MonsterAuto.ca and create a new account using Google sign-in at any time.

Some records are kept where Canadian law, regulation, fraud prevention, or contractual obligations require it. These are retained only as long as legally necessary and are then securely deleted or anonymized. Retained records may include:

• Transaction, payment & financing records — vehicle purchase agreements, financing contracts, and payment/deposit records, retained where required by applicable law, regulation, contractual obligations, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, or dispute-resolution requirements
• Fraud-prevention & security records — evidence of fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or security incidents
• Legal & regulatory records — records required for tax, anti-money-laundering, consumer-protection, or dispute-resolution obligations
• Identity verification records — documents retained where required for completed transactions

Where records must be kept, we minimize the personal data attached to them and restrict access to authorized personnel only. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.

• We acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
• Verified deletions are completed within 30 days.
• If we can't verify the requestor owns the account, we may ask for additional confirmation.
