Our preferred integration method is to retrieve inventory from a feed hosted by your existing inventory provider, with scheduled updates. Contact us to arrange feed access and setup.
How it works
You or your provider share the hosted feed URL (and any required credentials) with MonsterAuto. Our team configures the connection and schedules automatic imports, so your listings stay current without your team building or maintaining an API integration. Most providers already publish a compatible export.

API Endpoint
Send a
POST request with your inventory data in the JSON body. All requests must be HTTPS.https://api.monsterauto.ca/v1/dealers/inventoryRequired headers: Content-Type: application/json and X-Monster-Api-Key: YOUR_API_KEY.
Authentication
Each dealer partner is provided with a unique API key. Include it in the
X-Monster-Api-Key request header of every request — never in the request body.API Key Instructions
Your unique API key will be generated by a MonsterAuto.ca administrator after your partnership is approved. It will be securely communicated to your primary contact. Requests with a missing or invalid key are rejected with HTTP 401.
Data Format
Send a JSON object with a
vehicles array. By default the feed is incremental: vehicles you send are created or updated, and vehicles absent from the payload are left untouched. To run a full-replacement feed (which archives vehicles missing from the payload), set incremental to false. Full-replacement feeds with an empty vehicles array are rejected, and a safety lock pauses any run that would archive a large share of your inventory.{

}A successful request returns 202 Accepted with a job_id; processing completes asynchronously. Limits: 10 requests/minute, 100 requests/hour, 10 MB per request.
